Pebble 3 now integrates a brand new feature aimed at opening new market opportunities

The Manual Card Feeder option will suit perfectly the needs for ‘on the spot’ card issuance, at a counter, a cashier or a front-desk.

Evolis R&D engineers developed a fully integrated Manual Card Feeder option, as an alternative to the ‘100 cards’ Feeder. It will be installed in place of the Card Feeder.

This option perfectly meets the printer design and style. Card detection, as well as a motorized card insertion, provides efficient and user-friendly features beyond compare.

To set it up, special commands have been developed to select feeding mode. They can be obtained from your Evolis Customer Service team.
In a near future, an updated Pebble driver version will integrate a card feeding mode selection.

Since the card will be fed and issued from the same place, the existing output hopper is no longer used and remains available as a Reject Box.
This will provide the end-user with superior features for added-value applications such as cash cards and loyalty programs that require data encoding.

Available from mid-May 2005, the Manual Card Feeder will be available in Lagoon, Glacier and Ruby colour.

The two following photos will help you understand the modifications done to the Pebble 3 printer. Shifting from the standard 100 cards feeder to the manual feeder just takes 10 seconds and does not require any tools, so the user is free to choose its configuration at any moment.
